Job details Spherion Staffing is hiring experienced Maintenance Make Ready Technicians for an apartment complex in Wichita Falls, TX! Applicants MUST be EPA certified AND have hands-on HVAC experience to be considered.

This is a full time opportunity and candidates must be comfortable being on call 2 weeks at a time (will earn bonuses and emergency pay). Pay is $18.00-$22.00 / hr and is negotiable depending on experience. ...

Responsibilities :

  • Will run service requests, to fix items in apartment units including appliance repairs, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance, Painting.
  • Doing make-readies, to get units completed for new residents to move in.
  • Change out appliances, cabinetry, etc.
  • Drywall and sheetrock repairs.
  • Cleaning grounds, pools, helping with any / all maintenance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC units. Change out parts after troubleshooting and / or fully changing out an entire system.
  • Troubleshooting appliances, plumbing, electrical, painting, and sheetrock and make repairs

Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Skills :

  • Able to be physically active for duration of shift and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
  • Able to be on call 2 weeks of the month

    • Education : Trade

    Experience : 1-4 years

    Qualifications :

  • Must have Make Ready experience
  • Must have hands-on HVAC experience
  • Must have EPA certification to handle freon.
  • Must submit to a background and drug screen
