This is a temporary position with the following pay rate per hour : $18

Job Summary :

Provides round-trip transportation for Talent Search participants between the ECC campus and local high schools.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

1. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

2. Dependable, punctual, enjoys working with students of diverse backgrounds

3. Twenty-one (21) years of age or older.

4. Safe driving record which meets Elgin Community College's insurance requirements.

5. Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days / evenings / weekends as needed by the department.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Essential Duties :

1. Transport participants to Talent Search activities.

2. Work in cooperation with coaches and instructors.

3. Keep documentation for van logs (mileage, gas, student pick up and drop off)

4 Maintain van.

5. Perform other duties as assigne

Physical Demands :

Light (up to 25 lbs occasionally or 10 lbs frequently)

Visual Acuity :

Close visual acuity (e.g. computer, assembly)

Work Environment : Moderate noise
