The Opportunity We’re seeking a Medical Assistant to support our clinical team — ensuring quality care, seamless patient experiences, and a smooth daily workflow. As a Medical Assistant at Florida Spine Care, you'll play a key role in both clinical and administrative support functions. From preparing patients and treatment rooms to updating medical records and assisting with procedures, you'll help create a calm, efficient, and caring environment for every patient we serve. What You’ll Do Patient Care & Clinical Support Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results Prepare patients and exam rooms for medical procedures Assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures Administer medications under physician supervision Support patients with compassionate, respectful care before and after procedures Assist with the transfer of patients as needed Administrative & Operational Duties Greet and check in patients, schedule appointments, and manage phone calls Collect and verify necessary patient information and consent forms Maintain and update accurate medical records in compliance with confidentiality regulations Clean instruments and manage exam room inventory Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and internal protocols Complete annual mandatory training and perform other duties as assigned You’ll Thrive in This Role If You… Are passionate about helping others and making patients feel supported Can multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced medical setting Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and colleagues Bring attention to detail and a proactive attitude to your daily work Take pride in being dependable, prepared, and responsive Value efficiency and cleanliness in a clinical environment Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Medical Assistant Certification required BLS Certification required Phlebotomy Certification or equivalent experience required Sterile procedure experience required Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting required Skills & Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software Highly organized with attention to detail Basic understanding of administrative systems and record-keeping Ability to work independently and take initiative What We Offer Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Assurity Hospital Indemnity & Insurance Policy Paid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Time Company Paid Holidays 401(k) Retirement Plan Bonusly (employee recognition platform) DailyPay (on-demand pay access) Why You’ll Love Working at Florida Spine Care You’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive care team in a patient-first environment.
