Stark Products is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to become part of our team.
Responsibilities :
- Strong drafting skills using Autodesk Inventor is a must.
- Design and develop complex mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor, incorporating principles of design for manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Manage and maintain extensive product data, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within Autodesk Vault, ensuring efficient version control and traceability.
- Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to create manufacturing documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and part lists.
- Contribute to supplier development and test activities to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
- Assist in developing and refining complex assemblies, ensuring proper fit, function, and manufacturability.
- Support the implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) processes within a cross-functional team.
- Participate in mechanical testing and analysis, documenting results to inform design improvements.
- Implement cost-reduction strategies by optimizing designs and material selection, resulting in a [percentage] decrease in manufacturing expenses
