As a full-time Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician, I provide comprehensive care for inpatient OB and GYN patients, offer consultations in both the floors and Emergency Department, and lead various quality and safety initiatives. Additionally, I oversee the training of residents and fellows, actively participate in the OB Rapid Response Team, and contribute to evidence-based quality programs at a Level 1 Trauma Center with extensive support from subspecialties. My work also involves working flexible shifts and opportunities for academic involvement in a beautiful location near Boston and New York City.

OB / GYN Hospitalist in Hartford, CT Position Details : - Full-time, permanent- Employed- Providing call coverage and L&D support- Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients- Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department- Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses- Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team- Member of patient safety and quality review committees- Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine- Extensive support from OB / GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology- Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU. We the largest of three sites responsible for the training of the 40 UConn OB-GYN residents- 12 hour and 24 hour shifts available- Teaching / Academic options available Requirements : - Board Certified or Board Eligible OB / GYN- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut Location : Located within two hours of Boston and New York City, Connecticut offers you and your family access to a lifestyle that is second to none.
