Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is looking for a dynamic and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 55+ community in Bend, Oregon. In this role, you will foster a welcoming environment, ensure the smooth management of community facilities, and promote resident satisfaction through exceptional service and engagement. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a vibrant and active community while maintaining high standards of living for its residents.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily operations of the community, including resident services and amenities.
  • Enforce community rules and policies in a fair, empathetic, and consistent manner.
  • Plan, organize, and execute events and activities tailored to the interests of the community.
  • Manage budgets, maintain accurate financial records, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely services.
  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas, facilities, and landscaping to ensure safety and quality.
  • Perform routine inspections of homes to uphold community standards.
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports on community operations and activities.
  • Supervise and provide direction to office staff, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion.
  • Maintain facilities in excellent condition to enhance resident enjoyment and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents and communicate regularly with stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in property management, preferably with residential communities.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a low-speed vehicle on-site.
  • Familiarity with event planning and execution.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial records accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
