This role leads a high-performance sales organization, ensuring strategies, processes, and accountability frameworks deliver consistent growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy to Meet Company Goals :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that consistently achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Align sales initiatives with Koltiv’s vision, operational objectives, and target markets.
  • Use market insights, competitive analysis, and performance data to identify opportunities and proactively address challenges.

Strategic Sales Plans to Maximize Profitability :

  • Design and implement plans that expand Koltiv’s market presence while maximizing margins.
  • Prioritize initiatives that strengthen client partnerships, drive retention, and deliver measurable business value.
  • Monitor profitability metrics to ensure sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Forecasting, Budget, and Revenue Growth

  • Oversee accurate forecasting to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Plan and manage the sales budget in alignment with company priorities.
  • Use sales performance data to identify trends, adjust strategies, and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Leadership Management & Accountability :

  • Mentor and coach Marketing Manager and Director of Sales.
  • Inspire, coach, and hold Client Executives accountable to performance standards.
  • Provide clarity on expectations, track results, and foster a culture of personal responsibility.
  • Lead with Koltiv’s values, ensuring integrity and ownership are at the heart of decision-making.
  • Team Development and Coaching :

  • Continuously coach and develop Client Executives to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and establish performance improvement plans where necessary.
  • Foster a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence within the sales team.
  • Sales Process and Accountability :

  • Lead the adoption and execution of Koltiv’s Sales Core Process, ensuring it is Followed by All (FBA).
  • Continuously update and improve the Sales Core Process Document to reflect best practices, efficiency gains, and market evolution.
  • Maintain a disciplined, data-driven approach to process management for predictable, repeatable success.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and strategic initiatives as needed in support of Koltiv’s evolving goals.

    Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Vice President of Sales or similar executive role with demonstrable success in sales strategy and team management.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to drive sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel regularly to Koltiv’s Des Moines office and client sites as required.
