Fire Code Inspector II
The Colorado Springs Fire Department is seeking an energetic positive dynamic and determined individual to join our diverse team of inspectors and engineers within the Technical Services Section of the Division of the Fire Marshal. The Fire Code Inspector II is an exciting position in a fast-paced work environment with avariety of challenges and rewards.
In this position you will ensure code compliance with the locally adopted International Fire Code applicable NFPA and other standards to make structures installations and processes safe for the public and occupants. The Technical Services Section primarily deals with hazardous materials high-piled combustible storage and medical marijuana and extraction facilities.

Physical Demands. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally 25 pounds frequently and10 pounds constantly is required.

Primary Work Environment - Office / field environment with travel from site-to-site
