We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume invoices, credit memos, and payments with accuracy and efficiency.
Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper coding and approvals.
Maintain vendor records, reconcile statements, and respond to vendor inquiries.
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing by preparing reconciliations and reports.
Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including purchasing, payroll, and finance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-state or multi-entity accounts payable.
Familiarity with ERP systems and automated AP processing tools.
Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practices.
Pay Details : $21.00 to $29.00 per hour
