As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a renowned healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. Your visibility and presence will play a key role in maintaining a secure atmosphere, while your commitment to outstanding customer service and clear communication will enhance the experience for all visitors and staff. This position requires driving responsibilities.   • What You'll Do :
  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Support access control measures, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity.
  • Communicate and coordinate with healthcare staff and emergency responders as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
  • Minimum Requirements :
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
