Corporate Governance & Securities Lawyer On site in Chicago

We are currently seeking Corporate Governance & Securities Lawyers to work with our publicly-traded client base on-site in Chicago for both full-time and part-time needs.

Responsibilities :

• Advise on external governance trends SEC issues and related general legal issues
• Review corporate governance documents policies and guidelines and recommend updates where necessary
• Drafting reviewing and ensuring the timely satisfaction of SEC compliance and reporting obligations including proxy statements and reports on Forms 10-K 10-Q S-1 S-4 and 8-K
• Planning and preparing for annual shareholder meetings drafting and reviewing Board / Committee minutes and resolutions

Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum 6 years of public company securities and general corporate work in-house or at a law firm

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $140000 and adjusted to take location and years of experience into consideration .
