We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager, Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. The Senior Manager, Engineering will lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, along with developing detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation. In this role the right candidate will coordinate the internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. The Senior Manager will also stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in project management and technology.
What will you do :
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas of improvement
- Monitor KPIs and service performance metrics
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management and business partners highlighting successes, areas of improvement and strategic recommendations
- Integrate relevant data and information and apply findings to positively impact our business & function along with key insights and actions based on data and metrics
- Work with product and engineering managers to determine and manage cross-team dependencies
- Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the organization and cross-functional teams
- Operationalize and facilitate workshops carving out time and space to ideate on business driving idea / outcomes
Required Qualifications :
7+ years of experience with several of the following methodologies : management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, and / or strategic business planning3+ years experience in project or program managementPreferred Qualifications :
Ability to foster cross-functional relationships; comfort operating in a matrixed environmentComfort with ambiguity, ability to create a process where one doesn't exist and deliver resultsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsDemonstrated experience successfully driving change in complex organizationsDemonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneouslyExperience with enterprise-wide and / or cross-functional large-scale initiatives with high degree of complexityStrong storytelling and narration skills to distill the complex solutions being implemented into understandable stories tied to business valueExperience in cross-BU, project management, consumer experience, and / or business roles; healthcare and / or management consulting experience preferredExperience in the medical / pharmaceutical industryEducation :
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)Pay Range :
The typical pay range for this role is :
118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
