Job Title : Material Handler

Job Type : 90-Day Contract-to-Hire

Shift : 6 : 00 AM start time

Pay : $19 / hour

Overview :

A manufacturing facility is seeking a Material Handler to support the Quality Department. This role ensures materials and samples are handled accurately and delivered promptly to maintain smooth quality inspection and testing processes. Ideal for someone detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

Load, unload, and transport materials and samples within the quality department

Deliver inspection and testing materials to the appropriate workstations

Maintain accurate records of material movement using scanners and inventory systems

Assist with organizing and staging materials for quality audits and inspections

Perform routine cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy

Keep the quality department work areas clean and organized

Collaborate with quality inspectors, production, and shipping teams for timely material flow

Follow all safety and quality protocols

Requirements :

Experience in material handling or warehouse roles preferred

Forklift certification a plus or willingness to obtain

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
