Building Maintenance Technician

Location : Anchorage, AK

Schedule : Full-Time

Pay : $26–$27+ / hour, depending on experience

TDL Staffing is hiring a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to join a busy maintenance team in Anchorage. This hands-on role involves general repair, upkeep, and light construction work across a variety of building systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform general maintenance and repairs for building systems and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC units, fixtures, and plumbing
Complete minor carpentry, painting, and remodeling projects
Assist with groundskeeping and custodial tasks as needed
Respond to on-call emergencies on a rotating schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Interact professionally with residents and staff

Preferred Skills & Experience :

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Available Schedules / Shifts Include :

12-hour shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunda,y 8 am-8 : 30 pm ($26.27 / HR)

12 am-8 : 30 am M-F

Swing shift, 3 pm-1 : 30 am Monday-Thursday ($27.77 / hr)

Minimum Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Alaska driver’s license with insurable driving record

Must be able to lift / move up to 50 lbs

Background check required; drug-free workplace

Must participate in rotating on-call schedule

Previous experience in trades such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, welding, general construction, or maintenance is required
