Job Opportunity : Assembler Associate
A client of ours located in Lake Oswego is looking for an Assembler Associate.
Permanent opportunities after completing contractual hours.
Responsibilities :
- Verifies items before packing and selects the correct container type and size based on instructions.
- Uses proper packing materials to prevent damage and applies accurate shipping labels or identification.
- Maintains accurate counts of all packaged products.
- Confirms that packaged items match order requirements and are labeled correctly.
- Assembles product components on the production line in line with company guidelines.
- Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Operates the laser machine when required, under close supervision.
- Inspects products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Reports quality issues, defects, equipment malfunctions, or material concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Follows manufacturing priorities as directed by supervisors and production schedules.
- Reviews work orders to determine tasks and priorities.
- Complies with company policies, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Wears personal protective equipment as trained and required.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment to support efficient operations.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED.No experience required; training provided.Able to read and follow work orders in EnglishComfortable with repetitive tasks and fast-paced environments.Basic computer skills for printing labels; good communication skills preferred.Correctable vision and hearing.Physically able to work in a large facility, lift up to 40 lbs., and perform movements such as reaching, bending, and handling materials.Works well in a team, uses sound judgment, and follows instructions.Schedule : Monday to Thursday, 7AM-3 : 30 PM
Pay : $18 / hr.
