Description
The Acute Care Manager of the Physical Therapy Dept. will be responsible for 1.) the overall clinical operations of the PT Department; 2.) the growth and development of Physical Therapy programs; 3.) day-to-day management of PT departmental operations.
Provides leadership to facilitate provision of quality services, fiscal management, and a competent staff.
Completes daily census assignments for PT / OT.
Facilitates quality services and promote positive employee relations.
Coordinates department’s activities for operational excellence.
Meets all hospital requirements and expectations.
Participates in departmental and hospital wide operational plan activities.
Provides Comprehensive Inpatient Physical Therapy Services.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree from a school of Physical Therapy required
5 years of acute care experience required
Current License by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy required
BLS
1 year of supervisory experience preferred
