The candidate must meet the following requirements :

Database Engineer

• 5 years of experience with SQL development and database fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server (required for this role).
• Basic understanding of database design principles normalization and data modeling concepts.
• Experience writing stored procedures functions and triggers.
• Familiarity with database performance concepts like indexing and query optimization.
• Experience building ETL processes and data pipelines using tools like Python SQL or ETL platforms (Glue Step Functions Lambda).
• Understanding of data integration patterns and best practices.
• Familiarity with data transformation and validation techniques.
• Experience with AWS services particularly RDS and EC2 for database hosting and Glue Step Functions and Lambda for ETL functions.
• Amazon Redshift experience preferred for data warehousing workloads.
• Understanding of cloud database deployment and management concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and CI / CD principles.
• Basic knowledge of data management concepts and data cataloging tools and processes.
