EMIT Learning is seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic team. As an Occupational Therapist you will work directly with students to help them develop the skills necessary for academic success independence and participation in everyday activities. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with diverse needs while working in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.     • Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state
  • Experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of sensory integration motor skills development and adaptive strategies
  • Excellent communication documentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate creative and student-centered approach

    • Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students functional abilities and create individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to support students fine motor sensory self-care and coordination skills
  • Collaborate with teachers administrators and other professionals to support classroom success
  • Monitor student progress and adjust goals as needed
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students development
  • Maintain clear accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
