RINA is currently recruiting for a Environmental Consultant to join its office in Washington, DC  within the  Sustainability and Business Innovation  Division.

Mission

The Environmental Consultant focuses on supporting the team in assessing and mitigating environmental risks associated with energy, infrastructure, and industrial projects. They assist in delivering permitting-related services, conducting environmental studies, environmental monitoring and modeling, compliance assessments, due diligence, and audits to evaluate compliance with international standards, mainly FC performance standards.

Key Accountabilities

Conduct Environmental Impact Assessment Studies :

• Assist in conducting comprehensive environmental impact assessments for energy, infrastructure, and industrial projects, analyzing factors such as air quality, water resources, and biodiversity.
• Support in conducting environmental studies to facilitate permitting and authorization processes, identifying potential risks and mitigation measures

Environmental and Social Due Diligences, Studies, and Audits :

Develop Mitigation Strategies :

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams :

Prepare Reports :

Support Proposal Preparation and Client Liaison :

Travel and Site Visits :

Project Management Support :
