Responsibilities of this Senior Accountant :

Apply GAAP revenue recognition principles to financial reporting.

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy.

Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and month-end closing.

Ensure accounting records are accurate, efficient, and compliant with regulations.

Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancements.

Prepare documentation and reports for external audits.

Review and code credit card transactions, ensuring proper classification and entry into the general ledger.

Oversee and approve travel expense reimbursements.

Assist with special accounting projects as assigned by the Controller.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED for the Senior Accountant :

Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required

3+ years of accounting experience

Microsoft Dynamics experience +++

Excel proficiency is required
