Financial Controller

Clayton Services is searching for a Financial Controller to join a thriving company in Pasadena, Texas. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the financial department's results and overseeing the financial department staff in day-to-day operations.

Pay Rate : $62.00 - $75.00 / hour

Financial Controller Responsibilities :

• Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Subsidiaries, Foreign Exchange (FOREX), Fleet Management, Cash Flow, and Revenue Recognition.
• Lead and strengthen the finance function's business partnership across the organization.
• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial statements within 8 days.
• Coordinate and oversee the budgeting and financial forecasting processes, ensuring timely variance reporting.
• Supervise and manage staff while coordinating the preparation of regulatory reports.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including coordinating audits with external auditors.
• Ensure the integrity and quality of financial transactions and reporting.
• Oversee compliance with government reporting and tax filing requirements.
• Develop, document, and improve business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
• Recommend updates and improvements to accounting systems.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported.
• Assist the CFO in preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders.
• Led the consolidation of group companies (currently in the US and Canada), including preparing related notes.
• Perform additional controller duties as required.
