This is a high-visibility, high-impact Controller role reporting directly to the President, with a dotted line to the CFO. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, and a humble, team-first mindset. You’ll be trusted to oversee core accounting operations, lead and develop a small team, and serve as a strategic partner in financial reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end close, GAAP compliance, and internal reporting.
  • Develop and manage financial reporting structures, including cash flow reporting to the private equity ownership.
  • Supervise a small accounting team.
  • Handle all aspects of accounting for margins on each project, inventory, and warranty tracking for manufactured equipment.
  • Serve as a business partner across departments – building relationships with team members at every level of the organization.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and adapt systems for a growing, customer-centric business.

  • Able to work in a flexible, project-based environment – occasional extended hours required.
  • A steady, smart, and savvy finance leader who values collaboration over ego.
  • Experienced in manufacturing accounting – this is a must.
  • A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills
  • Motivated by improving processes, solving problems, and taking care of internal and external customers.
