Stormwater Maintenance Vacuum Truck Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a Stormwater Maintenance Vacuum Truck Operator. Under supervision of the Field Operations Supervisor, the Stormwater Maintenance Vacuum Truck Operator performs such tasks and duties as are necessary for cleaning stormwater structures and systems including but not limited to drywells, envibro systems, treatment systems, and stormwater inlets. The position also supports the repairing of stormwater structures as needed. Under supervision of the Field Operations Supervisor, the Stormwater Maintenance Vacuum Truck Operator performs such tasks and duties as are necessary for cleaning stormwater structures and systems including but not limited to drywells, envibro systems, treatment systems, and stormwater inlets. The position also supports the repairing of stormwater structures as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and drive the stormwater maintenance vacuum truck safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Use the vacuum truck’s equipment to efficiently remove sediment, trash, leaves, and other debris from stormwater structures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while operating the vacuum truck and performing maintenance tasks.
• Follow environmental regulations and guidelines for proper disposal of collected materials.
• Collaboration with other team members to accomplish daily tasks.
• Ensuring all daily tasks are completed in a safe manner.
• Other duties as needed.
