TITLE : Senior BCBA / Licensed Professional Counselor
The purpose of the Senior BCBA is to oversee assigned clinic to ensure quality
outcome for parent training objectives and authorizations. The Senior BCBA works under
the supervision of the LCPC-BCBA implementing the IABA parent training curriculum as
well as developing individualized parent training goals in collaboration with the treating
BCBA. Additionally, the Senior BCBA completes all assessments and authorizations for the
clients assigned to their clinic. The assessment process includes direct overlaps and
coordination with the treating BCBA. This may include intakes as assigned by the Clinical
Director. When needed the Senior BCBA will assist with supervising caseloads for case
coverage (ex : maternity leaves / PTO requests)
Responsibilities :
Senior BCBAOversee assigned clinic to ensure quality outcome for parents in understanding ABA principals
- Runs the IABA parent training curriculum in conjunction with individualized parent training goals under the direction of the LCPC
- Collaborates with treating BCBA to ensure individualized goals are idiosyncratic to their treatment plan as well as socially valid
- Overlaps all assigned clients minimally one time per quarter to set socially valid
goals
- Individually meets with families concurrently to support their understanding of the principals of ABA and progress of parent training goals with treating BCBA
- In-person training as supported methods of parent training semi-monthly for
assigned clinic
- When needed / covers PTO & leaves both via telehealth / in-person for BCBAs to
ensure continuity of treatment
Completes IM-CANS semi-annually for all Medicaid clients at their site and makes updates as necessary
- Aggregates data with the Director of Interdisciplinary Care to make
recommendations for clinical services needed beyond ABA
- Collaborates with Clinical Director to create a vision of services based off surveys and Director's clinical goals for their site
- Creates outreach for clinical services need and not offered by IABA (ex : physical
therapy)
- Functions as a liaison between RBTs and HR when employee concerns present at assigned clinic as an additional supportive resource
- Maintain confidentiality, ethical guidelines, policies including HIPPA laws and
regulation
- Maintain a flexible schedule to appropriately deliver services based on client needs
- Billable aim is 135 with both direct and office work available for billing
Required Qualifications / Skills :
- A Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
- Requires a state / national certification as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
- Requires a state LCPC certification, NPI and CAQH numbers
- Preferred experience in parent training and family centered care
- Ability to collaborate with others and create a shared vision
- Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner at all times
- Strong verbal, written and communication skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to meet scheduling commitments
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Desired Skills :
- Minimum of 2+ years clinical experience with children with developmental disabilities / autism
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience supervising and training teams
- Precision Teacher preferred
WORK STATUS
- This is a full time position in Naperville Illinois with 4 office days / 1 flex after 90
days onboarding
TRAVEL
- Work time will be shared between travel and office setting
- Must have a valid driver's license and provide proof of auto insurance
REPORTING
- Reports to Clinical Director and Clinical Director of Interdisciplinary Care
