Shift Leader

As a Shift Leader at Team Lyders, you will support daily restaurant operations, assist in training and developing team members, and ensure exceptional service for our guests. The Day-to-Day

Build People Capability

  • Supervise and support team members during shifts.
  • Assist with training and development of new and existing team members.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, championing Team Lyders' core values.
  • Set the tone for exceptional customer service and teamwork.

Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience

  • Execute MIC Success Routine to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Plan, direct, and deploy crew to meet brand and company standards.
  • Manage product inventory and ordering to meet demand.
  • Assess and coach team members for service excellence.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and equipment standards.
  • Maintain Restaurant Operations

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including back-office organization.
  • Audit CORE performance and provide coaching for improvement.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and safety standards.
  • Perform and oversee cash handling and daily banking tasks.
  • Is This You?

  • 1+ years of experience in a restaurant leadership or training role.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to pass a background screening and MVR check.
  • Valid driver's license required for banking duties.
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and extended shifts when necessary.
  • Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to :
  • Remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Talk and hear, verbally expressing ideas and important instructions.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle or feel; type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp, or turn with hands.
  • Perceive attributes of objects and materials, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touch.
  • Frequently required to :
  • Walk about.
  • Maintain balance while walking, standing, crouching, or running.
  • Reach up and out with hands and arms.
  • Lift and push / pull up to 40 pounds over a distance of 20 feet.
  • Occasionally required to :
  • Climb stairs or ladders.
  • Twist the upper torso.
  • Stand for long periods without a break.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Lift and push / pull up to 50 pounds over a distance of 15 feet.
  • Work Environment

  • The employee is regularly exposed to both indoor and outdoor conditions with a moderate noise level. Indoor conditions may also include exposure to heat, cold, water, cleaning chemicals, grease, and oil.
