Job Description :

We are seeking a Technical Writer / Product Documentation Specialist experienced in creating, managing, and optimizing software product guides and user documentation by leveraging Generative AI technologies.

This role bridges AI innovation and product enablement, focusing on building comprehensive, intelligent documentation ecosystems that improve user experience and product adoption. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial crimes compliance (e.g., AML, KYC, sanctions, fraud detection), allowing them to contextualize technical information for regulated industries.

You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, compliance teams, and AI specialists to transform complex information into clear, accessible, and engaging content-often assisted by GenAI models to automate drafting, summarize content, and generate multimedia assets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain end-to-end software product documentation, including user guides, admin manuals, API docs, implementation guides, FAQs, and knowledge base content.

Leverage Generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot) to :

o Generate, refine, and version product documentation.

o Automate tagging, indexing, and contextual summaries.

o Create conversational knowledge bases and interactive help systems.

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all documentation.

Partner with compliance and risk teams to align product materials with financial crimes frameworks (AML, KYC, OFAC, SAR reporting, sanctions screening, etc.).

Create AI-assisted templates and reusable documentation modules to accelerate new product rollouts.

Implement metadata tagging, document lineage, and content governance standards using AI-driven documentation systems.

Maintain documentation repositories and version control systems (Confluence, Git, SharePoint, etc.).

Write, edit, and proofread customer-facing and internal technical content for readability and compliance.

Use analytics and AI feedback loops to improve documentation effectiveness and user engagement.

Train GenAI models and assist in prompt engineering for documentation generation and summarization use cases.

Required Skills & Experience

5 10 years of experience in technical writing, documentation management, or product enablement within software, fintech, or data platforms.

Proven expertise in software documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, GitBook, Docusaurus, Markdown, or similar).

Strong understanding of AI / ML or Generative AI tools, with hands-on experience using or prompting LLMs for technical writing.

Excellent writing, editing, and visual communication skills with strong attention to accuracy and clarity.

Familiarity with financial crimes compliance and risk management frameworks (AML, KYC, BSA, sanctions screening, or fraud prevention).

Ability to interpret technical specifications, API references, and product design documents to create user-friendly guides.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, compliance, and design).

Strong understanding of data privacy, governance, and security as they relate to product documentation.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Data Science, Journalism, or a related field.

Experience writing documentation for financial crime analytics tools, AML systems, or compliance software.

Prior experience in regulated environments (banking, financial services, or government).
