The Role :

As an Educator, you’ll play a key role in providing a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for children aged 12 to 24 months. Key Responsibilities :

Curiosity-Fueled Learning : Create an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum using Frog Street Toddler, offering hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and creativity in language, movement, and exploration.

Support Growth : Provide a nurturing space for children to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills while encouraging independence.

Collaborate and Innovate : Partner with fellow educators and administrators to continually improve teaching strategies, bringing fresh ideas and approaches to your classroom.

Strengthen Bonds : Build meaningful relationships with children and their families, fostering a sense of trust, community, and belonging.

Lead with Care : Facilitate child-centered activities that focus on the individual developmental needs of each child, guiding their growth with patience and understanding.

Comply with Excellence : Ensure all DHS, Keystone STARS, and NAEYC guidelines are followed, maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.

Qualifications :

Education : A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is required. An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood / Elementary Education or a related field is preferred.

Experience : Prior experience working with toddlers is preferred.

Certifications : Must obtain a physical, TB test, and Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances before your first day of employment.

Pay : $16 to $18 / hour
