Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Warehouse & Inventory
- Assists in inventory order requests and receiving stock and nonstock items.
- Cleans warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safer and sanitary work area.
- Assists in organizational practices in warehouse space management.
- Packs and loads products onto trucks according to company's specifications.
- Participates in physical inventory counts for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
- Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements.
- Accurately and clearly documents delivery tags and return tags.
- Reviews orders before and after delivery to ensure that all orders are complete.
- Performs all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of providing warehousing operations.
Delivery
Delivers orders to customers on assigned routes and work according to time schedules.Maintains ongoing communication with route dispatcher.Reviews deliveries with job sites to ensure products meet their needs and unloads goods as per job site specifications.Completes logs and reports for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable information.Safety & Other Functions
Follows DOT regulations and safety standards.Follows safe lifting practices and help colleagues lift extremely heavy items to avoid injuries.Obeys all traffic laws and follow established traffic & transportation procedures while operating the Company's motor vehicle.Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.Knowledge, Education, and Experience
High School Diploma or GEDProven working experience in a Warehouse CapacityClean driving record and Class C non-commercial licenseExperience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plusExperience in the construction or construction equipment industry a plusAbility to do oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance a plus.Skills and Specifications

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands : significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling; significant climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and / or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 40% sitting, 30% walking, and 30% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and / or illness. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 50 pounds.
