UX Designer II, AWS Developer Experience

Are you passionate about empowering developers to build innovative solutions on the cloud The AWS Developer Experience team is seeking a driven talented and experienced US Designer to transform the way technical builders learn experiment and interact with AWS through their careers.

You will be responsible for bringing new developer-focused experiences to life and shaping how AWS builds effective relationships with new to cloud and experienced AWS this role you will partner with product management engineering research and the Developer Experience team to innovate and build an experience for the AWS developer community.

Youll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing and launching a community program that inspires and empowers technical builders.

Key job responsibilities

• Understand customers and their needs through market analysis customer research and feedback.
• Use business and high level requirements to design the architecture interface and interaction flow of new features and experiences.
• Develop personas customer journey maps conceptual diagrams wireframes and prototypes.
• Facilitate the design process present and iterate design solutions.
• Continually iterate and evolve the way we design for and learn from our customers.

About the team

The AWS Developer Experience team is a technical function focused on engaging with Builders at scale. We are focused on inspiring innovation on the AWS platform generating preference for AWS products to help accelerate sign ups and service consumption and driving organic advocacy for AWS.

We deeply understand the journey of Builders and use these insights to build partnerships and alignment across AWS functions educate and inspire leadership to engage with Builders and help transform our go-to-market efforts and services on behalf of our technical customers.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106000 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $184000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
