Seeking Custodian for automotive facility in Lansing MI. This is temporary for a leave of absence.

  • Monday-Friday 2 : 30p-10 : 30p
  • Must be willing to be trained and use Forklift

$18.00 / hour

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite haul trash to dumpsters
  • Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project
  • Able to distinguish between trash / scrap and stored materials
  • Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go
  • Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas : Yard area guard shack smoke area etc.

    • While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to :

  • Removing and Bailing Cardboard
  • Moving and stacking Pallets
  • Floor cleaning
  • Fork truck operation
  • Need to be open to ALL tasks
  • Qualifications : ;
  • Previous experience in a janitor custodian cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
  • Frequent lifting carrying pushing or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Must have reliable transportation
