Operator

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Production Operator position with a Lead Oxide Processing Mill in Vancouver, WA. The person will be responsible for operating a forklift, monitoring mill activity, and performing quality control.

Shift : Full-Time. Must be open to both Swing and Graveyard after training on days.

Pay : $22.50 / hr

Operator Responsibilities :

Monitor and adjust mill settings for optimal performance.

Respond to mill alerts and react quickly to troubleshoot appropriate action.

Inspect and ensure the quality of the finished product.

Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment safely.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Record operational data and report any issues to supervisors.

Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes.

Operator Requirements :

Forklift experience.

Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical operations highly desirable.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials up to 90 pounds sometimes and 60 pounds regularly.

Willingness to work in a dusty, noisy environment.

Willingness to be clean shaven and wear a respirator for entire shift.

Willingness to submit to blood draws once every 2 months to monitor lead levels.

Ability to stand for long periods and walk up and down stairs throughout the day.

Ability and willingness to be respirator fitted.

18+ years of age.
