OVERVIEW :

Tribe Coffee is now operating in San Diegos North County!

We are looking for new members to join our team as we expand.

Tribe coffee is a mobile coffee shop in San Diego specializing in fully automatic coffee sales. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable team members to fill operator positions. This means youll be responsible for driving to beaches, sporting events, music events, community events, private events, and selling coffee on site via our mobile coffee cars.

For this position, experience in hospitality or sales is preferred, but not required, we are willing to train the right person. Customer service is a must. Compensation is $17.25 / hr plus tips, with the possibility of earning additional bonuses for meeting sales goals.

The ideal candidate is a morning person, able to work independently, likes interacting with people, speaks fluent English, has a valid California drivers license, clean driving record, and can pass both a background check and a drug test. Additionally, candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift 50 lbs, and are willing to work in varying weather conditions.

Operators of our vehicles are expected to have excellent communication skills, be professional, reliable, show a willingness to learn, and naturally maintain a fun vibe and friendly environment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Able to stand for long periods of time

Able to lift up to 50lbs

Speak fluent English

Minimum of 1 year experience in retail, food service / hospitality preferred, but not required.

Friendly, outgoing personality

Must be available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays

Must have a valid California drivers license

Clean driving record

Able to pass a drug test

Able to pass a background check

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Work independently, confidently

Engage with and educate the community about who we are, our coffee, our brand values, and upcoming events

Provide excellent service, with a community approach to coffee

Serve beverages consistently by learning to use our fully automated coffee machine

Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work

Handle payments through a POS system (cashless terminal such as clover, square, etc.)

Communicate effectively with other team members and management

Maintain a clean and inviting environment for guests and team members

Promote Tribe Coffee on social media
