They will also bring a customer-oriented approach to both Product Development and Quality along with superior analytical and problem-solving skills. And we are seeking candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems and work with tools and machinery. Participating on a team working directly with customers to create efficiencies in their production processes through the implementation of automation Assisting in the fabrication of metal prototypes Creating detailed schematics, diagrams and technical drawings using CAD Helping come up with and launch new product lines Developing & maintaining inspection techniques, procedures, and documentation for incoming goods Ensuring & communicating compliance with standards and industry regulations. (Building Codes and Government / Environmental) Supporting qualification and ongoing monitoring of 3 rd party manufacturing partners Leading CAPA activities (Corrective Action & Preventive Action Plans) Requirements for the Product Development / Quality Coordinator : Alignment with our company values Demonstrated success in working with customers and suppliers Highly organized and strong attention to detail Mechanical aptitude Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Available for occasional travel We are willing and ready to train you in the use of CAD and in the use of the machining equipment used to fabricate prototypes. Role Summary :
- Peace Industries, Inc (dba Spotnails), an award-winning distributor of pneumatic stapling tools, collated fasteners, and replacement parts, headquartered in Rolling Meadows IL, is seeking a Product Development / Quality Coordinator to join our team and contribute to a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.
- Reporting directly to the Product Manager, as a Product Development / Quality Coordinator , you will partner with our other team members to make sure we can provide timely shipment of high-quality products to our customers.
- You will also work collaboratively with team members, as well as customers, and suppliers, to develop products and processes that maximize the value we bring to the supply chain.
