About the Position

The Loan Officer will increase their mortgage loan portfolio by developing business contacts and attracting mortgage customers. They will be responsible for all aspects of originating and negotiating mortgage loans and advising and counseling our customers on available loan options. Essential Functions

• Develop referral sources for purchase and refinance mortgages from realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts
• Build rapport, analyze financial situations, determine the appropriate loan product to meet clients' goals, and submit a preliminary loan package for processing
• Achieve sales and referral goals
• Develop a positive client experience consistently
• Recommend loan solutions per lending guidelines and client requirements
• Manage a portfolio of customer relationships effectively
• Seek prospective opportunities to retain and / or develop new clients

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
