Quality Technician I

The Quality Technician I is a key member of the quality assurance team and plays a vital role in ensuring our packaging products meet or exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests, recording data, identifying defects, and communicating with production teams to correct issues. A strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and a detail-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Performing off-line testing to verify that products meet all customer specifications
  • Accurately entering and analyzing quality data using customized data sheets
  • Identifying defects, communicating findings to machine operators, and documenting corrective actions
  • Maintaining physical and digital records of lab data and test results
  • Supporting analysis of quality metrics, customer feedback, and internal process performance
  • Ensuring timely and accurate check-in of customer returns
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure product quality and compliance

Required qualifications include :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts and mandatory overtime
