Tax Staff Accountant - Public Accounting / Tax Compliance

Location : San Francisco, CA (On-site)

Pay : $65,000 - $125,000, depending on experience

Schedule : Full-time, in-person

Our client, a well-established public accounting firm based in San Francisco, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team. This firm specializes in complex tax issues for high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, and international clients, and they are known for providing exceptional client service. What you get to do :

Prepare and review tax returns for individual, trust, corporation, and partnership clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Work directly with business owners, CEOs, and controllers to gather financial information and input historical data.

What you need to succeed :

Degree in Accounting from a U.S. university.

2+ years of experience working with tax returns in a public accounting firm.

Working towards CPA certification.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with clients.
