Southeast Texas HR is seeking Laundry Aides & Drivers with a experience as a delivery driver. As our Laundry Aides & Drivers, you will work with an area client in sorting, processing, cleaning, and delivering hospital laundry. You will work with a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for excellence. We offer competitive compensation as well as opportunities for growth and advancement. These can be temp-to-perm positions and pay will be $15.00-$17.00 per hour DOE. This is a days position and weekends will be required.
Responsibilities of Laundry Aide & Driver
- Operate company box truck to transport linen and other materials to and from customer locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of linen and materials onto the box truck.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the manager.
- Follow approved safety guidelines, separating and removing solid waste and soiled linens for safe disposal before laundering linens.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers on a daily basis.
- Complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
