Job Summary :

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Testing Manager to lead our testing operations at our San Jose facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the testing lifecycle for electronics and hardware systems, ensuring product quality, compliance, and performance standards are met prior to release. This role will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and lead a team of test engineers and technicians responsible for validation and verification of products.

Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for new product introductions (NPI) and existing product lines.

Oversee the design and maintenance of test setups, fixtures, and equipment.

Drive root cause analysis for test failures and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, QA) to improve test processes and product reliability.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements ( ISO, IPC, UL).

Track and report on testing metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain documentation for test processes and results.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

  • years of experience in test engineering, with at least years in a leadership or managerial role.

Experience with hardware and system-level testing, preferably in a manufacturing or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environment.

Strong knowledge of test automation tools and methodologies.

Familiarity with ICT, functional testing, environmental and reliability testing.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience with Foxconn systems and procedures a plus.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, or other automated test environments.

Working knowledge of Six Sigma or lean manufacturing principles.

Bilingual (Mandarin / English) preferred, but not required.
