Responsible for managing psychotropic medications for the clients of RHA. Duties include initial Psychiatric Evaluation of client and subsequent follow up visits for medication evaluation and management. This position is an integral part of the team and would work in collaboration with not only other RHA staff but health care professionals in the community.
Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include : Requires a certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant and experience working with the population supported. Relies on experience, knowledge, and judgment to provide services with limited supervision and direction.
Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included :
Regular required to lift 20 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Must be able to pull minimum of 25 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. We are seeking compassionate and positive Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide therapeutic support for service users with mental health, behavioral health and substance abuse issues.
