About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Power Delivery to oversee the onsite micro-grid delivery of a multi-phase, campus-scale data center project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and operational delivery of utility-related programs and projects, with a focus on meeting targets for efficiency, reliability, and compliance. This executive role demands a strong engineering foundation, particularly in power generation, large-scale infrastructure, and complex energy system integration. The VP will serve as the executive sponsor for power generation projects, lead cross-functional teams, develop and implement strategies to optimize utility system performance, and manage utility relationships. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with environmental, interconnection, and market participation rules, as well as providing executive-level guidance on energy policies, technologies, and emerging risks.

Applicants for the Vice President, Power Delivery position at the company should have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, BSME, Environmental Science, or a similar field, with an advanced degree preferred. A Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in utility management, power delivery, or a related field, including leadership experience in building onsite natural gas turbine generation plants and / or battery energy storage systems. Strong analytical, detail-oriented, creative thinking, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with various stakeholders. The role also requires the development of risk mitigation strategies and the ability to navigate and interact with government authorities for necessary approvals.
