Acquisition Logistics Manager

SSI needs to add an experienced Logistics Manager to support the USMC Light / Attack Helicopter Program Office (PMA-276). PMA-276 is responsible for acquisition logistics, sustainment, and life cycle support the Government’s H-1 In-Service (AH-1W, AH-1Z, and UH-1Y and Training aircraft, and H-1 Flight Test aircraft and systems), H-1 Maintenance Training Assets, and various test assets.

Specific Duties :

• Technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources.
• Development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans.
• Systems acquisition requirements analysis.
• Budgetary or financial analysis and control.
• Life cycle cost analysis and control.
• Weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility.
• Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) / Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution.
• ILS / R&M program management analysis.
• Collecting, compiling, analyzing, investigating, researching, and applying logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data and information.
• Developing, modifying, preparing, and validating documentation in relation to automated logistics and maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
• Interfacing with program stakeholders within the program office, outside vendors, and Fleet Support Team representatives.
• Requires roughly 20% a year CONUS and OCNUS travel.

Education :

Allowable Substitution :

An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Experience :

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
