Position Summary

Join our team as a Project Engineer (PE) and take the lead on exciting, large-scale projects that challenge your technical expertise and leadership skills. As a key member of our engineering department, you'll work closely with the Chief Engineer and Project Manager to define and manage the resources, schedule, and costs for our cutting-edge projects. Collaborating with diverse teams across our organization, including QA, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving, you'll provide crucial engineering support throughout the manufacturing, integration, and testing phases. With your guidance, our engineering team will deliver high-quality solutions from initial concept to successful completion, ensuring project and production availability align with customer specifications. EXPECTATIONS :

• Self-motivated, focused individual with strong attention to detail and high ethical standards.
• Capable of developing and leading a small engineering team through a complex submarine overhaul.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, applicable submarine specifications and Special Emphasis Program requirements.
• Ability to work as part of a team of managers and technical personnel and support multiple projects.
• Strong organizational skills and analytical / logical approach.
• Ability to synthesize diverse information (technical, schedule) and exercise good judgment.
• Good technical judgment and some independent evaluation, originality and ingenuity are expected.
