Job Title : Medical Assistant (Korean Speaking)

Location : Flushing NY 11355

Contract Duration : 26 Weeks

Schedule : MondayFriday 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (1-hour break)

Pay Rate : $23 / hr

Position Overview :

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a bilingual Korean-speaking Medical Assistant to support a busy outpatient Urology practice in the Flushing NY area. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct patient intake including vital signs height and weight measurements.

Assist physicians during exams minor procedures and treatments.

Collect label and process laboratory specimens accurately.

Update and maintain patient records in EMR systems (Epic or Athena).

Ensure patient comfort confidentiality and safety throughout visits.

Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and medical equipment.

Provide assistance with front and back-office duties as needed.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED required.

Fluency in Korean (spoken and written) required.

Current BLS certification required.

Completion of a Medical Assistant training program required.

Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA) preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Experience in outpatient or family practice settings strongly preferred.

Familiarity with Epic or Athena EMR systems is a plus.
