Position Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator will support both warehouse and logistics operations, with approximately 50% of their time dedicated to warehouse responsibilities, 20% to logistics functions, and 30% supporting broader operational alignment between the two. This role is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, maintaining warehouse supply inventory, managing administrative coordination across departments, and supporting the smooth execution of daily delivery operations.
This is an onsite role intended for individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Warehouse Operations (50%)
Serve as the point of contact for incoming carriers and container deliveries; assign dock doors and manage unloading schedulesMaintain and manage inventory of warehouse supplies and consumablesCoordinate supply ordering and monitor replenishment needs across departmentsSupport warehouse organization and cleanliness, including layout updates and racking coordinationAssist in coordinating inbound and outbound material flow and communication with delivery teamsLogistics Support (20%)
Provide early-day dispatch coverage as assigned by the Director of OperationsTrack and report on delivery trip status, including incomplete or miscategorized tripsLog recurring delivery issues and escalate as neededCross-Functional Coordination (30%)
Compile daily and weekly logistics performance reportsRecord and track operational misses and support issue resolution with logistics and warehouse leadershipAssist in drafting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across operations and logistics teamsSupport onboarding and coordination of team members across both warehouse and logistics functionsManage warehouse-related administrative tasks to support execution and complianceTrack attendance and maintain meal waiver documentation for assigned team membersQualifications
2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or dispatch administrationStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and logistics systemsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and process follow-throughSpanish language proficiency is a plusOnsite availability required at one of Vesta’s operational facilitiesBenefits
