Community Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Community Outreach Specialist to assist with outreach and engagement efforts throughout the community. This position plays an important role in connecting individuals to healthcare , behavioral health , and employment support programs .

The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, and enjoys helping othersespecially individuals who may be experiencing homelessness, unemployment, or behavioral health challenges.

Responsibilities

Assist participants with completing sign-ups and applications for community, healthcare, and behavioral health programs.

Participate in job fairs , resource events , and community outreach activities (dates provided in advance).

Engage with local agencies, nonprofits, and service providers to strengthen community partnerships.

Collect, track, and maintain accurate records of participants and outreach activity.

Distribute information materials, flyers, and resources at events and partner locations.

Communicate clearly and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with all program and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (some college or related training preferred).

1+ year of experience in community outreach , social services , recruiting , or case management .

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable working with diverse populations, including those facing housing instability or behavioral health needs.

Organized and able to manage outreach activities with minimal supervision.

Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools).

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.

Schedule & Pay

Part-Time : Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. 1 : 00 p.m.

Hourly Rate : $18.00
