Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

  • Own the sprint deliverables (Bug fixes, feature enhancements) that are assigned to them and take the responsibility to complete the items on their own
  • Participate on the scrum calls and contribute to the betterment of team in terms of deliverables / process
  • Contribute towards the GIS vulnerability remediation efforts

Requirements :

  • 10 years of experience with prior exposure to working in the financial sector
  • Net Core
  • Strong communications and delivery skills
  • Working knowledge of GIT or any similar source code repositories
  • Working knowledge of Continuous build and deployment strategy using Jenkins and Ansible
  • Cloud Architect
  • Angular X
  • Experience with Agile and scrum
  • Strong experience with Angular framework
  • Experience with all or some of the following technologies : JavaScript, Relational DBs (Oracle / SQL Server), ASP MVC, Net Core, WCF
  • Experience building distributed and scalable complex services as well as robust micro services
  • Experience with Multi-threading, low latency, high performance components & applications (including GC tuning)
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Good Grasp of modern web application development approaches
  • Experience in maintaining a focus on testing and acceptance, particularly with respect to our regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience in breaking down larger problems and detail user stories

    • Desired skills :

  • Experience with web services development and REST interfaces
  • Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis with strong communication skills
  • Experience in capital markets or banking

    • Pay range : $58.26 - $66.26
