Technical Architect

An employer is seeking a Technical Architect to join one of the top technology consulting firms to spearhead a critical effort to design, develop and implement multiple highly visible, cloud native applications in .NET Core. This role will initially be focused on collaborating with both internal and customer stakeholders to create a technical roadmap and solution design. The Technical Architect will be then be responsible for working hands on alongside multiple development teams to ensure successful development and implementation of the initial products and applications in the solution. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in both technical / solution architecture as well as hands on experience developing robust and scalable cloud native applications from the ground up. Additional responsibilities include :

• Design and architect scalable, robust, and maintainable web applications.
• Evaluate and research technology options and make engineering design decisions
• Leverage open-source technologies and communities
• Create and maintain architectural design documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, DevOps engineers, and other developers
• Interface between development team and product stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and architecture to continuously enhance the team's skill set and maintain our competitive edge.
• Quarterly co-location events in Sacramento, CA.
