Role Overview
We're looking for a performance marketing expert to drive Trovy's customer acquisition engine. You'll own our paid media strategy across Meta and Google, using data‑driven optimization to scale efficient growth. This role demands both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution—you'll be building campaigns, analyzing performance data, and working closely with creative teams to develop high‑converting assets. This is an opportunity to apply performance marketing excellence to a category‑defining fintech product in a $40 trillion market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and scale paid acquisition campaigns across Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and Google (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max), driving cost‑efficient customer acquisition and hitting growth targets.
- Manage end‑to‑end campaign execution including audience targeting, bid strategy, budget allocation, creative testing, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain rigorous testing frameworks for creative, copy, landing pages, and audience segments to continuously improve conversion rates and reduce CAC.
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and optimization levers, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Provide strategic direction to creative teams on high‑performing ad formats, messaging angles, and visual approaches based on performance data and platform best practices.
- Build and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards and reports, clearly communicating results and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with product and growth teams to optimize the full funnel from ad click to conversion, including landing page experience and onboarding flow.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, industry trends, and competitive landscape to maintain best‑in‑class performance marketing execution.
- Manage relationships with external agencies or contractors as needed to scale campaign execution.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on performance marketing experience with proven success scaling paid acquisition campaigns.Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms, including advanced features like custom audiences, lookalikes, conversion optimization, and attribution modeling.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar) and ability to work with data to drive decision‑making.Track record of managing significant monthly ad budgets ($100K+) and delivering measurable improvements in key metrics (CAC, ROAS, conversion rates).Experience providing creative direction based on performance data—you know what makes an ad convert and can articulate why.Comfortable with A / B testing methodologies, statistical significance, and incrementality measurement.Ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment, balancing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing needs.Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data insights to non‑technical stakeholders.Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets and data visualization tools.Nice to Have
Experience marketing high‑consideration financial products (mortgages, loans, credit cards, insurance).Familiarity with marketing in regulated industries and compliance requirements.SQL knowledge or ability to work directly with data warehouses.Experience with marketing attribution and incrementality testing.Background in conversion rate optimization and landing page testing.Benefits
