We are expanding our global footprint and seeking a Business Development Manager for our office in Dallas, Texas. This role focuses on nurturing opportunities in Aerospace & Defense Aviation in the Americas and strengthen relationships at all levels, with a keen eye for contract details and closing sales.

Tasks

Some Daily Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for our portfolio of precision measurement tools within Aerospace and Defense Aviation, as well as other emerging sectors
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance stakeholders at all levels of customer organization.
  • Lead the sales cycle end-to-end — from prospecting and demos through proposal, pricing, and closing
  • Draft, review, and administer commercial contracts, ensuring clarity, compliance, and risk mitigation
  • Professionally represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
  • Collaborate with your technical and product team colleagues to align solutions with client needs
  • Track and report on pipeline activity, market feedback, and competitive intelligence using CRM tools and regular updates

  • Your verbal and written communication demonstrates a strong command of the English language, which empowers you to navigate complex topics for a successful outcome.
  • You approach every situation analytically, with attention to detail and the initiative to anticipate & overcome hurdles
  • Requirements

    Must-have Requirements

  • US citizenship required – no exceptions .
  • In-office position (not remote) – no exceptions .
  • 5-10 years in business development or technical sales, ideally in Aerospace & Defense sector
  • Experience navigating all levels of a customer organization with persistent curiosity, diplomacy and humility
  • Strong understanding of contracts administration, including terms negotiation and risk management
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Business or related discipline
  • Strong computer skills and experience with engineering applications
  • Willingness to travel up to ~50%

  • Experience with 3D metrology, NDT, or quality inspection systems
