About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer to spearhead the global accounting and reporting function during a period of significant transformation. This pivotal role demands a leader who can ensure financial integrity, compliance, and transparency while driving process modernization and system implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all accounting operations, overseeing SEC filings, and leading the implementation of a new ERP / accounting system to support the company's rapid growth. Additionally, the role involves advising senior leadership on accounting implications for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and capital market activities, and maintaining robust internal controls in adherence to various accounting standards. Applicants for the Chief Accounting Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive accounting leadership experience within a U.S. publicly traded company, with at least 5 years in SEC reporting. A CPA is required, with a strong preference for those with Big 4 experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling accounting teams, as well as experience in ERP system implementation and process modernization. Expertise in U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and global accounting standards is essential, and a background in industrial or technology manufacturing, particularly with complex, decentralized operations, is a plus. The role calls for a professional with a strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
